Tuesday, May 26, 2015 - 21:59
Sam Richard gave a short and terse presentation at the BAD Camp mobile summit. which was dripping with his Native New York sacasam. It was amusing.
Here are the reasons he hates Twitter Bootstrap
- Twitter bootstrap has too many device size options
- Bad Accessibility
- No alt tags for visual cue icons like warnings and shopping carts
- Color blind users have issues
- Font Sizes are bad
- There is no consistency for users
- He also says that performance is an issue
- He says that the responsive tags for twitter bootstrap is also a bad practice.
- Jacob says that every line of bootstrap is a joke
My man Nick Grace, Senior Front End Developer at JBS says the main problem lies in the fact that twitter bootstrap in not meant to be customized.
